The Clouds

Emotions and thoughts are similar to the clouds in the sky: they are always shifting and changing, going in ebbs and flows. If your cloud is on the darker side, then the longer you leave it, the more it will brew or even break out in an uncontrollable thunderstorm. It’s the law of nature.

“Would you like to try releasing a cloud right now? It’s easy! Make sure your body feels comfortable and take a deep breath.. Now another one with a longer exhale.. Now, see the cloud in your mind’s eye and start watching it as if it’s a scene from the nature.. Take your time! What’s happening to it? Does it stay the same? Do you notice any shift and changes? How does your mind and body feel now?”

  • If you look at your life, you notice that it feels as if it flows, it has a meaning and it brings you wonderful synchronicities and opportunities.

Overcast & Gray

  • In your inner world, these clouds are harder to detect as they usually express themselves as a dull background sensation of ‘life is not that bad but it’s not great either”.

  • Emotionally, you might feel them as depressiveness, guilt, confusion.

  • Mentally, they present as self-doubt, resistance, inability to see meaning in your life, living in regret or without hope for a better future.

Dark & Stormy

  • Dark clouds appear during an argument, heartbreak or separation.

  • Emotionally, they are overwhelming, making you feel weak, angry and distressed all at the same time.

  • Mentally they bring up questions that are scolding and aggressive in nature; “Why this is happening to me?”, “What’s wrong with me?”, “Why am I such a loser?” etc.
